This class is for the children who attend Parish Day School
Unlock your child’s creativity with this three-day introduction to pottery! We will explore the world of clay by creating pinch pots coil pots and more. Students will craft their pieces from raw clay using their hands, as the very best tool, and other tools for slipping and scoring to join two pieces of clay together. These projects will then be taken to my home studio for a low-fire process. During the third class, students will paint their fired pieces with special glaze paint. Once they have been high-fired for a professional finish, the completed unique masterpieces will be delivered back to the school.
Class Details:
Age Groups: 3-6(must be potty trained)
Times: Half Day 12:20-1, Full Day 1:10-1:50
Class Dates: 9/14, 9/21 & 9/28
Maximum Class Size: Limited to 10 students per class
