I fire my pottery to Cone 6, which reaches a temperature of 2232 degrees Fahrenheit. This firing process results in the pottery transforming into stoneware upon completion.

How long does the pottery process take from start to finish, considering various factors?

The pottery process typically spans about a month on average, accounting for variables like humidity, piece size, thickness, and kiln capacity. Occasionally, it might be shorter, depending on the stage I'm at in the process.

We do our best to ensure your piece comes out to your liking. If your piece is damaged during the firing or transportation, we will give you a call to discuss the repair process.

Can I bring a friend or family member to the private lesson?

Private lessons are designed for individual participants. If you would like to include a friend or family member, please inquire about the availability of additional slots.

Is there an age restriction for participants?

Private lessons are open to participants of various ages. However, please contact me to discuss the suitability of the lesson for younger participants.

What is your cancellation policy for private lessons?

If you need to cancel or reschedule a private lesson, please provide at least 48 hours notice. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled lesson may be subject to a cancellation fee. Please email Angie at vabeachpottery@gmail.com to discuss.

How can I make a payment for the private lessons?
