Hi, I’m Angie!
Native to Virginia Beach, I became obsessed with pottery from my first class 17 years ago. Once I honed my craft, I wanted to share it with others. Starting small, I was teaching the basics to Pre-K students after school. Soon word spread, and I was teaching pottery at 4 different preschools.
With the love and support of first my friends and family, and then clients, I was able to build a magical home studio. Now I do small workshops and classes at All Hands Studio. Seeing the delight in my student’s eyes after they realize the magic in their own well-made piece, brings me back to where I was 17 years ago, just discovering my love of pottery.
My focus is functional, beautiful pottery. When I am creating wares on the wheel I often think of how my clients will be using them in their daily life. Whether it is them sitting on their porch enjoying a morning cup of coffee or serving their family dinner on a piece I made, it is a privilege to have my pottery in someone’s home. I look forward to throwing mud and playing in it with others for many years to come.
